Speciality of Marleshwar Temple

The biggest highlight of the temple is its mysterious cave atmosphere. There is no electricity inside the cave, and the temple is illuminated only by traditional oil lamps, creating a divine and peaceful environment. Devotees often describe a powerful spiritual energy as soon as they enter the cave. Another fascinating aspect of Marleshwar Temple is the presence of living snakes inside the cave, which adds to the mystery and spiritual aura of this sacred place.

The temple houses two Shiva Lingas: Shri Marleshwar Shivling and Shri Mallikarjun Shivling. Because of the two Shivlings, there are also two Nandi statues inside the temple. Outside the cave, devotees can also see two Ganesh idols along with a sacred natural water source known as Ganga Kund, whose water level remains constant throughout the year.

Located right beside the Marleshwar temple, the waterfall becomes extremely powerful and mesmerizing during the rainy season. During peak monsoon, direct access near the waterfall may remain restricted for safety reasons, but the viewpoint itself offers breathtaking panoramic scenery.
