The Tamraparni and Ghataprabha River Confluence is one of the most beautiful hidden natural attractions near Daddi Village on the Maharashtra–Karnataka border. The Tamraparni River originates in the dense forests near Zambre Dam in Chandgad Taluka, Kolhapur district, Maharashtra, and flows through the lush valleys and villages of the Western Ghats before reaching Daddi. Here, it merges with the Ghataprabha River, which originates near Chaukul Village in the Amboli forests of Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra, before flowing into Karnataka as an important tributary of the Krishna River.
From this meeting point, the combined river continues its journey towards Hidkal Dam in Karnataka, carrying water that supports irrigation, agriculture, and local communities across the region.
